  • Why do you only offer Invisible Bead Extensions?
    I have been certified in many, many different methods of extensions over the years. I like all those other hair extension methods and what they can give you, but I have found that Invisible Bead Extensions allows my guests to confidently wear their extensions knowing their hair and scalp are safe. IBE allows my creativity to flourish and create some really amazing transformations.
  • How do I take care of my IBE hair extensions?
    I have resources for my guests to ensure you are properly taking care of your new investment. You can find some very helpful tips here.
  • How much does IBE hair extensions cost?
    IBE Hair Extensions can vary in pricing depending not the length you desire and the rows you are needing. To help take away the dress of deciding what you need, I offer a couple of packages for new clients. Please see my New Client page.
  • What is the process of an IBE hair appointment?
    Your experience with Invisible Bead Extensions starts when you submit your digital pre-consultation form to determine if this is the right service for you. Once you have been approved , we will have a 15-20 minute virtual consultation via telephone call or zoom call to go over all questions, pricing quote, how many rows you may need, etc. At the end of our virtual consultation you will be ready to schedule your luxury IBE appointment where I will send you a link to my online schedule and you pick the date and time that best works for you. All extension appointments require an $800 non-refundable retainer fee that is to be paid when scheduling appointment. The retainer fee will be applied to your appointment day of. I start your luxury hair extension service by installing your Invisible Bead Extensions followed by custom coloring both your hair and the hair extensions to create that infamous blend (the real secret to seamless extensions). I follow with a custom hair cut for blending, how-to-style ideas and the infamous Instagram photoshoot! All new IBE install services receive complimentary doordash lunch on day of appointment and a custom home maintenance kit to get you started with the essential products you need to properly care for your new luxury hair extensions. If you cancel less than 72hrs in advance a new retainer fee may be required. Please see policy page for more info.
  • What does the maintenance look like?
    Maintenance services are required every 8-10 weeks depending guests natural hair growth rate and hair density. Most of my clients are an average of about 9 weeks. During a maintenance appointment I will remove the IBE row of extensions where I can asses your hair shed and how your scalp is handling the hair extensions. This is very rewarding when my guests see's their minimal hair shed and all fears of losing their hair vanish! Included in the Luxury IBE Re-Install appointment is shampoo, hair masque, blow-dry and style and takes about 1 hr per row (add an additional 30-45 minutes for shampoo/blowdry) Color maybe needed to refresh your IBE luxury extensions every other maintenance appointment. Price for color is not included and can be added if needed for additional pricing (please see color services prices)
  • Why do I have to submit a digital consultation form to book with you?
    My digital consultation form allows the booking process to move smoothly for the both of us. This form provides me with all the information that I need to see if I am the stylist for you. I would never want to waste your time or mine, if I am not the stylist for you. ​ Once I have all that information from you, come appointment day we can both arrive confident and relaxed about the gorgeous transformation that is about to take place.
  • Why can't I book just a haircut with you to start?
    Unfortunately, I no longer take haircut only clients. I love cutting hair! It is my belief that you can not have beautiful color without a gorgeous haircut, to help enhance that color or vice versa. You can always receive a haircut with your color service for a whole new look.
  • Why don't I see just a simple full highlight or partial highlight on your service menu?
    I specialize in creating dimensional, lived-in color for blondes, brondes and brunettes. These kinds of looks are more intricate and involve so much more work than a traditional highlight. I place my foil work in a very strategic way that is not a specific partial highlight or even a full highlight. I focus more on the end result rather than the partial highlight or full highlight method. Please refer to my service descriptions to find the best service for your look. Still unsure?   • Do you offer any fantasy or mermaid colors?
    I love to see a beautiful fantasy color or bright vibrant red, but I choose to specialize in Invisible Bead Extensions and lightening services. I have spent most of my time and advanced education in these specific services, that is why I do not offer fantasy colors or vibrant reds.
  • How do I schedule a consultation first before an appointment?

    Before every appointment you will get a chance to truly customize your visit. A text message conveniently allows you to choose your complimentary enhancements & have your favorite refreshments waiting for you when you walk into the door.
  • One-On-One Experience
    Your experience at Mane Hue Salon will always be one-on-one. There are no other stylists and no other clients during your scheduled time at Mane Hue Salon because it's only you and I in my micro space. You will always have my full attention, and every moment of your appointment is tailored to you. Located in a micro brick and motor space, you may experience the occasional passer by as the downtown patrons pass the beautiful, sun filled window, but otherwise you are completely at peace and undisturbed, making it a great environment to relax or work remotely.

    Whether you're in for a quick maintenance session, or a longer session, I've got you covered with a wide variety of options. Whether you're looking for something healthy or more indulgent, I've got a variety of complimentary sweet and savoury snacks and beverages on hand at all times to keep you fueled and hydrated.     To ensure you're always covered, I have all the necessities available in the salon for you. Whether you need a workstation for your lap so you can stay on the job while being serviced, access to WIFI, an iPad with streaming services, a wireless charger for your phone, phone sanitizer, hand sanitizer and lotion, or simply a cold place to store a packed lunch (assuming you want more than the light snacks I have available), I've got you covered.
